Refund Policy
1. QuickScan Profile Audit — Non-Refundable
The QuickScan Profile Audit is a fixed-fee, rapid-turnaround diagnostic service. Once purchased, our team begins work on your file promptly, and the report is typically delivered within 48 hours. Because the deliverable is a completed written report, not an ongoing service, the QuickScan Audit is non-refundable once payment is received, regardless of whether the client acts on the findings.
If a technical error prevents delivery of the report within 5 working days of payment, a full refund will be issued automatically.
2. Full Application Management & Refusal Recovery
These services are delivered in stages, and refund eligibility depends on which stage has been completed at the point of cancellation:
3. Student Placement Services
Student Profile Assessment (£79): Non-refundable once the written assessment has been delivered, as this is a fixed, one-time deliverable.
Standard and Premium Placement: Refundable on a pro-rata basis if cancelled before any university applications have been submitted on the client's behalf. Once one or more university applications have been submitted, fees become non-refundable, as GVJ has already performed the core service.
No Suitable Programme Found: In the rare event that GVJ is unable to identify a suitable university programme after a thorough search, a partial refund of £200 will be issued from the placement fee paid. The Student Profile Assessment fee remains non-refundable as that assessment work will have been fully completed.
4. Work Visa Services
Work Readiness Assessment (£99): Non-refundable once the written report has been delivered.
European Work Preparation Package and Visa Application Support: Refundable on a pro-rata basis if cancelled before the relevant documents have been completed or submitted. Non-refundable once the core deliverable (CV, application, or submission) has been completed and delivered to the client.
5. Flight Reservations and Third-Party Bookings
Flight reservation fees are non-refundable once the reservation document has been issued and delivered, as this is an instant digital deliverable. Any third-party costs booked on a client's behalf (accommodation, insurance, transport) are subject to that third party's own cancellation terms, which will be disclosed to the client before booking.
6. What We Do Not Refund Under Any Circumstances
- Embassy, consulate, VFS, or TLS service fees paid directly to third parties. These are entirely outside GVJ's control and are never refundable by us under any circumstances.
- Any service fee where a visa application has already been submitted, regardless of the outcome of that application. GVJ's fee is for the quality and completeness of the service provided, not for a successful outcome, which we do not and cannot guarantee.
- Fees for services where the client has provided false, misleading, or incomplete information that materially affects the outcome of the case.
7. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to office@globalvisajourneys.com, stating the service purchased, the date of payment, and the reason for the request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 working days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 working days.
