Apply Anywhere (GBP 250 per applicant) sends an agent to a location of the applicant's choosing for submission and biometrics. Cannot be used for travel within one month.
Appointments
How appointments work
For France, you do not pick a slot. You register, and an appointment is allocated to you automatically once one becomes available.
Short-stay applicants are placed in a queue and notified when an appointment becomes available. They then have 24 hours to pay the TLScontact service fee and confirm the appointment. All other visa categories book directly and must pay within 30 minutes.

The attestation d'accueil must be the original paper document posted from France. The host attends their Mairie in person and pays for it, so allow weeks rather than days.
Confirmed from official sources: two photographs, and a UK residence permit valid 1 month beyond return.
